What to send

If you have an account, send your support reference. It is how we find your account, since the app gives us no name and no email address for you. In the app, on the Clients screen, tap More (the ••• button at the top right), then Account. The eight-character code is under Support reference, and Copy reference copies it.

Please do not send a client’s address, a door code or an alarm code. We never need them, and mail is not a safe place for them.

What we can see, and what we cannot

With your reference, we can see your subscription, how many active clients you have, and when you last synced. Never what is inside a client’s sheet. “I lost a door code” has no answer from our side: your clients’ records are sealed on your iPhone, and we do not hold the key.

A lost or replaced iPhone

If you had signed in to sync, install Whisker Sheet on the new iPhone and sign in with the same Apple ID. Your clients come back once iCloud Keychain has brought your key across to it.

If you had not signed in, your clients were only ever on that phone, and we have no copy to give back.

If iCloud Keychain was off on the phone you lost, the key went with it, and the records cannot be recovered by anyone, us included. The app says so when you first sign in.

Deleting your account

You delete your account in the app. The account page has the steps, and says what deleting removes.

Removing Sign in with Apple yourself

Deleting your account removes this app’s Sign in with Apple access. If the app tells you Apple could not confirm that, you can remove it by hand: Open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, and remove Whisker Sheet.

Your privacy

The privacy policy says what we keep, what we cannot read, and for how long.
